16th September

16th September

Today was a surprisingly slow day..  I was so tired from yesterday and it definitely showed today.  I was barely there.  People spoke to me and my answers were pretty vacant.  I took a nap at midday and that only seemed to make things even worse!  A normal person would say ‘well make sure you […]

Today was such a busy day once again that I hardly has the chance to take any photos to update you with so sorry! Who can explain to me why I still keep seeing strange things chained to the ground? Haha, today was a kitchen sink! Who knows… Some of the magazines for us international […]

Well well well, I was so tired today! after a whopping 3 hours sleep last night, to be busy all day once again from 9am to 6:30 was near suicide.. Today I had to revisit some maths I haven’t seen for years! Quadratic equations, parabolas, hyperbolas, x², x³ terms. Ahh.. Its been a while. It […]

Today was Teacher’s Day in China, which means teachers all over the country will be getting gifts and praise from their students.  It was a fun day, though I didn’t do anything particularly special, there were a few nice surprises from students.   Not bad artwork eh?  Haha. Anyway, that aside, today I went with my […]

Today is the Mid-Autumn Festival and everyone in China at some point will be eating some moon cakes!  (including me, of course).  It is a national holiday, so most people don’t need to work and can spend time with family getting fat together around a table.  Sounds like any festival anywhere in the world.  Nice. Super-narrow house in London

Super-narrow house in London

Would you live here??  Well, this property in Haringey North London is on the market at £235,000.  At first, I was shocked, but then when I look at it, it’s actually not so bad. Street view makes this apartment look shockingly small.  You’d probably be jealous of neighbours, but hey, you have a place to live […]

3rd September

Well, Beijing has done it again!  After the heavy rain of the last few days, we can now enjoy a period of super clear blue skies!  This is the good thing about Beijing rain, it washes the sky – literally! Later, I went to the 798 Art District in Beijing with my housemate.  It’s a […]

2nd September

2nd September

Today was another interesting day! I woke up a little late and as a result had no time for breakfast before rushing out.  Luckily it wasn’t raining, but it was a little chilly! There were no taxis, as is usually the case when there is rain in Beiing.  So, I took a ‘black cab’.  Black […]

So much food it hurts

So much food it hurts

An exceptionally good thing about Beijing is that food is cheap and delicious! Last night me and my friend ate so much good food and the bill came to about £15 all together including drinks. Wonder what I’ll eat tonight… Pic from my instagram.
