I have finally started to study Beginners Spanish with the Open University. So far so good, but I have a whole year of studying ahead of me! So far I have gone over the basics such as name, how are you etc and will hopefully be able to speak some decent enough Spanish for when I go to Barcelona at the start of November! [somehow I think I'll probably forget it by then with all the drinking/partying/random stuff we do lol]
One day I hope to speak or remember enough Spanish to make a decent conversation or randomly remember words, like I do with French, which I was taught from age 12 to 16! It seems like ages ago now, but I still remember some of what I was taught
[wouldn't my teacher be so proud?!, after all I did get an A in French GCSE
] But this time round I shall be learning all by myself, with a few assessment’s in between…so fingers crossed I do better than pass
BTW Dora the explorer is pretty neat at teaching you basic Spanish…..I might have to watch it!! lol
[Heading is Hello, my name is Poonam, for those that don't know
