Nearly every guy that I speak to hates Kanye West. Well to all you haters out there, these are my reasons why I think Kanye is one of the best out there.
1. He was an average guy with a bad job and look what he has accomplished. If you put your mind to it, you can do everything.
2. Everyone says he is arrogant, and what? If you don’t think the best of yourself who the hell will?
3. Is he gay? So basically people stereotype that because he has better style than most other guys that he is gay? Just because he wears skinny jeans he is gay? How many straight guys out there wear skinny jeans now? Exactly!!
4. His concert was amazing!! He made sure everyone had a good time, even if you had the seats right at the back, although I didn’t, we were one of the first rows that were seated.
5. His songs aren’t all the same. Every song is unique, I think, and has a great video and not the standard girls, alcohol and sex that the rappers usually have!
6. His blog is awesome. Who else blogs the way he does with added caps lock and spelling mistakes? He isn’t shy to admit that he likes fashion and is metrosexual. He even airs his opinion whenever he feels like it and allows viewers to download new songs too!!
7. He is definitely an inspiration to carry on and go for what you want. Dedication pays off, even if at the time it doesn’t feel as if it is.
8. Charity. He has set up the Kanye West Foundation, to help combat the severe dropout problem in schools across the United States by partnering with community organizations to provide under-served youth access to music production programs that will enable them to unleash their creative ability and reach their full potential.
9. With his new G.O.O.D label he has Mr Hudson as an upcoming artist. I love Mr Hudson!! He is definitely breaking the barriers in terms of music.
I am not saying he is the best but he is definitely one of the better rappers out there who doesn’t conform to the drug obsessed, gun fighting rappers that do exist in our world today. Let the guy be, he’s good at what he does so leave him alone! So yeah I am a big fan!!
