Before Mr West graced us with his presence at the NEC, the opening acts took over. We were a little late so we missed out on Consequence and Kid Cudi. I so wanted to watch Kid Cudi but I’m sure there will be another time eh?!

We watched Mr Hudson first. I have heard about him and heard his song ‘too late, too late.’ He was good! Mr Hudson you have a new fan!!

Next was Santagold…the only song of hers I know is that one for the V05 advert ‘creator.’ She got annoying after a while as the crowd just wanted to see Kanye! She ended up being booed for a bit lol.

Then finally Mr West came!! The whole show was based around a spaceship that Kanye’s in and the troubles he faced with landing, taking off etc. He started the show with ‘Good Morning’…. in the evening

The crowd was so hyped when he finally arrived! Literally everyone was standing until he left! Mr West is definitely a crowd pleaser. He knew exactly what the audience would like and he puts on a great show!

There were glow sticks everywhere! But mine sorta ran outta glow towards the end

Every song Kanye did was awesome…all mixed together and sounded real good!

Towards the end Kanye said how long it took him to create this whole spaceship idea and all the hard work everyone put into making this tour. We were certain the show was at an end….but it wasn’t!! He did ‘American Boy’ and then did ‘Love Lockdown.’ But halfway through the first run of ‘Love Lockdown’ he stopped and said he wasn’t happy with the way the song went and that he hasn’t had enough practice for this new song. Weird. He started it off again and then stopped again. Then the third time the base was much more louder and it was amazing! Third time lucky I guess!

Other songs included were ‘Hey Mama’ [so emotionally charged up], ‘Homecoming’, ‘Gold Digger’ [the crowd went mad!], ‘Stronger’, ‘Flashing Lights’, ‘All Falls Down’, ‘Through The Wire’, ‘Champion’, ‘Can’t Tell Me Nothing’, ‘Jesus Walks’, ‘Diamonds Are Forever’ and ‘Good Life’ are the one’s that I remember. If  only he did ‘Heartless’ cos I LOVE it!!

Things I have learnt from this show…..

Kanye works damn well hard to get where he is. He didn’t have the best start to life but look where he is now. Everyone can get what they want if they work for it. Kanye is living proof of it!

He may be arrogant but it’s a good thing. After all if you don’t like yourself then who will? He is a total perfectionist. He actually gave us fans what we paid for, 2 whole hours of full on entertainment. It was definitely worth the money I paid! Most artists just care about the money but it seems more than that to Mr West.

Throughout the show he kept calling himself ‘the worlds best’ and the ‘best in the universe.’ In my opinion he fulfills this role so easily. He constantly betters himself and breaks all the moulds. He isn’t just a rapper although he is the best one around!

If he does another tour….I am so there!

On a side note – stupid stupid stewards wouldn’t let us take any pictures! WTF!! Did you just expect us to sit there and not take any?! Idiots!! That’s why so many people took pictures without flash so they wouldn’t be noticed!
