Last night I went to see Jay Z at the LG Arena in Birmingham. There was torrential rain before we even got to the arena but my god was it worth it!

Opening acts were Mr Hudson and Drake. Both were really really good! I love Mr Hudson from when I saw him at Kanye’s Glow In The Dark Tour, he was just as good, if not better!

Then Drake did his set. He kept including free Weezy in his songs but I LOVE him. He didn’t perform find your love which was a shame but he was really good live. I hope he tours here soon.

Then the man himself, Jay Z performed. He did little bits of EVERY song he has released. Every single person had their diamonds in the sky and it was such a great view from where I sat seeing everyone do it.
He is genuinely awesome! A crowd pleaser and everyone sang the song lyrics. One lucky guy at the front kept singing every lyric and Jay Z asked him to go up on stage to rap with him. That guy was so lucky!! Drake was also in the crowd watching

This has to have been the best concert I have been to this year. Loved every minute of it. The man can rap, best rapper alive? He may just be up there on the top 2 list!
Hi, good review, it was an amazing night – by the looks of it I was sat only a few rows in front of you! Wonder if you can help… I am desperately trying to find the name of the first song that Drake did when he came on stage. Never heard it before and never heard it since/can’t find it anywhere. As far as I remember Drake did the following songs (I can’t remember the order) best I ever had, over, i’m going in (lil Wayne cover), bedrock (his song with the young money crew), say something (ft timbaland), forever, unstoppable (ft santagold), successful (ft trey songz) and I think that was all of them. Hope that helps! He didn’t do his new song find your love, I was hoping he would but he didn’t!
