I have had 4oD on my computer for some time now but have rarely used it. I think the last time I properly used it was to watch Big Brother clips in the summer. For those of you that don’t know, 4oD is the service from Channel 4 that lets you watch TV shows and even download entire series free of charge - legally! The variety of shows available is astounding and I am surprised it hadn’t crossed my mind every time I turn on my computer and see the little logo load up in the corner of my screen!
Well, as soon as I clicked the logo the first thing I saw was the hit TV show Skins. I have heard endless stories about how action packed each episode is and how it’s addictive! So.. I decided to watch the first episode, the first entire episode I have ever watched of this show.

February 2008 Stats
Wow, yet another a 50% increase on last month. Seems the site is gathering pace!
Once again, the main source of people finding the site is by far Google giving me a good 80% of new visits. Although clearly some people are checking back regularly as ‘regular viewers’ are increasing too!
Total of 233470 hits for February makes last month the best so far

Wow, a 50% increase on last month. Sounds good to me!
Loads of Google links in! Seems people browsing the internet especially like the film Lust Caution. Since more than half the links in were for that post!

New music page
I have been wanting to have a page dedicated to just music for a while, so here it is. The locksleynet.com music page!
This page will be updated regularly with new and old music videos, they are categorised and there are also links to related videos too.
Some music is pretty hard to categorise though these days, so if I get something really wrong, then just post a comment on the video and I’ll update it as soon as possible.

New look site
I have decided, out with the old and in with the new!
Just testing out my new look site! Looks a little more complicated at first in my opinion, but a little neater than the old look site above
Important changes are the sidebars mainly. I have chosen this layout as it makes navigating the site a little more logical and neater. Instead of having to scroll around the page to get to what you want, simply use the middle navigational menu. The search functionality is still here and you can see more of the recent comments too!
If you want to get a little picture to go along with your comment, then all you need to do is go to www.gravatar.com and either choose one of theirs or upload your own! Easy!

December 2007 stats
As with November, I have decided to continue with the monthly site stats so I can keep track of how things are shaping up for locksleynet.com. More good stuff, this month has had more people linking from Google, which I didn’t manage last month!

I have noticed on a lot of other sites that people like seeing how many people have visited each month. So I decided that I would jump on the bandwagon and will put on the stats each month so everyone that may be interested can ‘feast their eyes’

A picture is worth a thousand words…
Really? I’d like to see someone write a thousand words on this one.. To me its just a beach.. One in Bulgaria.. It does look nice to be honest and I wish I was there. However, I don’t think I could actually write a thousand words about it. Maybe if it had a story attatched to it. Like it could have been the beach before the plane crash that started ‘Lost’ the TV series. But apart from that, nope. You won’t be getting a thousand words from me.
Also, in case you haven’t noticed.. I have figured out yet another way to store some of my pictures, which may turn out to be the alternative space for them other than the main site! Here
Anyone figured out where I can learn Japanese yet? I have been prowling the internet looking at other sites where people are learning Japanese and there is some interesting stuff out there! Since some people have been asking me ‘why do you want to learn Japanese anyway?’ I thought I’d give an answer.. Japan is a place I’d like to visit, but when I do - I don’t want to be one of the ‘typical’ tourists who go there expecting people to understand English in their own country. I want to be able to read and understand signs, maps and be able to ask for directions and recommendations if necessary in Japanese! The country is also home to a lot of ‘cool’ such as gadgets (Playstation, Nintendo, Sony), food (sashimi, sushi, teriyaki), martial arts (karate, samurai, ju jitsu) and of course animé to name just a few! So there are lots of reasons to want to go there!

Amsterdam 2008!
Ok so its decided and set, I am going to Amsterdam as my first (of possibly a few) adventures of 2008!
It will be my first time going to the so called ‘Sin City’. What to expect? I have no idea really.. Of course I have heard all the rumours of all the ‘magical’ foods and the ‘window shopping’ but its one of those things I guess you have to see for yourself eh? I actually can’t wait!
Anyone else been? Or have any ideas what its really like, let me know 
. Places to go / see there would be handy as it would be a shame to go there and come back having not been to / done something unique to Amsterdam!

MEGA website update coming right up!!
Ok, so its been absolutely AGES since I updated the pictures from nights out / holidays / events / uni / food / places or whatever else there is on my website!

Wicked weekend!
Well well, its September already!! Can’t believe it! where has 2006 gone already?! Ah well, its been so good!
Ok, so this weekend saw Bianca’s leaving meal! Good job organising so many people! Couldn’t have done it any better to be honest! After party was all good as well, despite losing a few people along the way.. hmm… Dim Sum on Sunday - my first taste of the Chinese brunch was all good! tried some foods that I would normally avoid in the menu… Was cool though for a change! When we going again guys?! I want some more chicken feet lol

Uni peeps are creeping back one by one! First proper student night tonight, was all good. So many people seem to know me even though I don’t even recognise them.. Ah well, can only be a good thing right? Proper student nights are all to come, can’t wait! More people in my flat tomorrow!! Whoop whoop!!
Holidays creeping closer as well.. Berlin coming up on 22nd Sept, then Amsterdam at some point (I think) :?, followed by Hong Kong at Christmas also New York in either Jan/Feb/Mar at some point! Got my ticket money aside!! Woo hoo! Good luck to Bianca spending a solid 6 months in New York! Also to Nicky spending a whole year in Germany!! Lucky people get to spend so long abroad.. I’m jealous!!

Pirates of Caribbean!! New video pages!!
Action action. I think it helps if you’ve seen the first movie to make this one better! I have (luckily) seen the first one so it was no problem understanding this one! Great film… Although it is also another loooooong movie! One of them where you are just stretching throughout because you have been sat down so long. Still a good film!

Great News!!!
My LocksleyNet.com Internet account is being upgraded which means I will have a whole lot more storage space!! Means I can actually have lots more full size photos instead of reducing to save disk space!
