Pretty intense Japanese lessons

Pretty intense Japanese lessons

Just for laughs before I get back into some proper Japanese stuff, I came across this set of videos on YouTube! Yes, as I already told you guys, I am addicted to the darn site!

This young lady named Emily teaches some Japanese lessons in a cheesy set of ‘lessons’. To be honest I thought it was pretty cool and original!

I have posted the first 3 of them on here, check ‘em out n see how much you can learn!

Around the world in 9 minutes

Some of my adventures over the past couple years have taken me to Barcelona, Ibiza, Cancun, Berlin, Dubai, Hong Kong, Asterdam and many other places!  Here is a little video I have put together dedicated to all of them.

Delivery blues

Delivery blues

Since I became addicted to YouTube, I have been trawling through a few vids and came across this one I liked! It’s about a guy who used a whole day waiting to get a parcel from a courier which didn’t turn up!

The reason I like it is because it’s full of energy and he keeps the video clean yet manages to vent his frustration! I can totally relate to him though! Have you ever waited in like him for something and it didn’t turn up?! Check it out!

Also, see below n check out this other guys response! Pretty funny despite his damn boring voice!!

YouTube addict

YouTube addict

It took some time, but I think I can finally say I have become a YouTube addict!

I used to walk past my brother on the computer and laugh at the amount of time he’d spend on YouTube watching videos on just about everything under the sun. Music videos, TV shows, random clips, boxing clips etc.

I used to occasionally go on there if there was a specific clip I needed to see. These days I just seem to go on there every time my computer is on. There are millions of videos on there so whatever floats your boat you will find on there somewhere.

I always go looking for documentaries on various random things like world peace, war, food (mmmm), places I want to visit, news, music videos, product reviews, Top Gear and lots more - I could go on all day!

How not to eat a McDonalds gracefully

My first attempt at using video editing software! Using clips and a video from a night out after work I thought I’d have a stab at making a mini video for YouTube.

Child Hosed Down With Jet Spray At A Car Wash

Child Hosed Down With Jet Spray At A Car Wash

What is the world of online video coming to?! Look at this video below if YouTube haven’t already taken it down… Just in case they have removed it, it basically shows two women getting out of a car at a car wash and then taking a little kid out the car to hose him/her down with a jet spray! Yea, kinda SICK!

When it comes to fun educational TV shows, Japanese kids have it good. Check out this video of Pita and Gora (talking and singing penguins) teaching kids the difference between different things such as cauliflower and brocolli. Makes me laugh.

Martial arts and parkour combo

Martial arts and parkour combo

As mentioned previously I like the idea of being able to do a few parkour tricks! I think its just the idea of having the upper body strength and flexibility to be able to perform some cool stuff that makes me want to do it.

Up until now, I have not officially been to any classes / lessons or had any random outbursts through the streets jumping over things. I think I could though, I have a bit of upper body strength but don’t think I’d dare to jump off a bridge or hang off a building. I like my arms and legs unbroken thanks.

Though, maybe it would be cool if I did. Some martial arts have a few parkour style moves as part of the training. Back flips, jumps and spins come into it a lot. The guys in this video seem to have done a lot of work to get this good!

Those kind of moves do look amazing but you can imagine it would hurt just a little bit if you missed a move! Check out the rest of these videos!

Katekyo Hitman Reborn

Katekyo Hitman Reborn

As part of my learning Japanese, I have decided to start watching anime in Japanese with English subtitles. I came across this anime a few weeks ago and it’s actually pretty good! Obviously, this will purely be for educational purposes  .

I am not usually an anime cartoon lover, but maybe it’s just the fact that it is in another language that makes it so appealing? No idea, but whatever it is, I will be watching at least one series of this and then maybe move on to something else. Its actually harder than you might think listening to the language in even a cartoon. They speak so fast that missing a word or even a sentence can be expected. Glad they invented the rewind button!

That aside, the story follows a young boy named Tsuna, who has no idea that his family is linked to an Italian mafia. Until ‘hitman tutor’ Reborn comes out of nowhere and sets out on his mission to train ‘innocent’ Tsuna into a tough Hitman, so he can take over control of the mafia.

Quite interesting stuff really!
