Dubstep
you may remember I mentioned hearing a few dubstep tracks at a house party earlier in the year.. Well, it seems dubstep is breaking out into the mainstream and getting more popular. I hear more people talking about it these days than I used to before..
One popular track I am sure you all have probably heard is Benga and Coki - Night..
There are plenty more out there too!
Not quite sure what it is I like about it, but I have a feeling it’s to do with the heavy basslines. Play these tracks through a pair of extremely large speakers for the full effect.

YouTube addict
It took some time, but I think I can finally say I have become a YouTube addict!
I used to walk past my brother on the computer and laugh at the amount of time he’d spend on YouTube watching videos on just about everything under the sun. Music videos, TV shows, random clips, boxing clips etc.
I used to occasionally go on there if there was a specific clip I needed to see. These days I just seem to go on there every time my computer is on. There are millions of videos on there so whatever floats your boat you will find on there somewhere.
I always go looking for documentaries on various random things like world peace, war, food (mmmm), places I want to visit, news, music videos, product reviews, Top Gear and lots more - I could go on all day!

The following video shows comedians Sarah Silverman and Jimmy Kimmel having a ‘lover’s tiff’.
You need to see both videos in order to get the full joke! So funny!

House party DJ decks
Recently, I went to a friend’s house party and was amazed at the amount of DJ equipment that was there. There was a set of professional DJ decks, a laser, smoke machine and speakers that looked like they were taken from a concert!
It was an almighty impressive effort I think and the party re-introduced me to a type of music I have not heard in a long time.
Dubstep
This music, to me is all about the loud bass! I love the wobbling basslines and if you play it through proper speakers then I am sure you will agree! This genre of music originates from London and stems from UKG and Grime music.
