Life of brands

Life of brands

Everyone has a routine right?  Wake up at x, eat x for breakfast, go to work etc..

Well, how much attention do we all pay to how much brands are taking over our lives?  They just slot into our lives so easily without much attention being paid to them.  Here is my attempt to capture as many brands that I might personally use on a typical Friday (usually one of my busiest days)..

Cool matrix style adverts

Cool matrix style adverts

Remember this video? Two people playing table tennis (ping pong) and a few other guys dressed in black, hiding in the background to make this low budget (in comparison) ‘Matrix style’ effect. An excellent idea when you think about it  who would have thought

I actually cannot remember what it was advertising or what it was made for but I do remember seeing it everywhere a while back!

Well, the same people seem to be back with a newer funnier video clip..

Supersize me! Disgraceful insight to McDonalds!

Supersize me! Disgraceful insight to McDonalds!

I know this is an ‘old’ movie now but I am probably one of the few who thought this movie would be a waste of time and no point going to see. Well, I’ll take back those thoughts. I am surprised at the low level of general knowledge people have when it comes to junk food!

Super Size Me is just absolutely mad! I couldn’t believe I didn’t see this sooner! It shows a man (Morgan Spurlock) on a mission to eat only things on the McDonald’s menu for a whole month! Personally I couldn’t even imagine the thought of eating nothing but fast food for even a week. There have definitely been occasions where I will have had fast food at least once every single day for a month. However, that will have been maybe because I had ‘no choice’, such examples when I am at work and the only thing apart from canteen slop is pizza and chips :???: or similar.

Clever adverts

There are always lots of adverts that come on TV, but some of them just stand out more than others. These three are some I think stand out just a little bit more than average..

Sony Bravia

iPhree! Hands free with your iPhone?

iPhree! Hands free with your iPhone?

This commercial shows how hard it is to manage every day tasks when using an iPhone at the same time. Well, apparently, that will be a thing of the past with this new must have gadget iPhree!

Cool adverts at the moment

Out of the TV ads I actually don’t ignore, I particularly like these two..

This one because the message is that everyone seems to want their picture taken by the man as he owns a Sony Cybershot camera! Love it!

Also this one..

Panasonic, you guys are brave!

This has to be THE funniest advert I have seen for Panasonic. In fact for any electrical brand for that matter!

I think they are pretty brave to show this advert for their Viera Plasma Televisions. Thats probably why it was BANNED in some places!!
