Unprotected Text
Apparently 6.5 million of us in the UK are injuring ourselves whilst sending text messages on our mobile phones! Injuries ranging from bruises, broken noses and even a fractured skulls!
Well to help prevent this happening, the guys at 118 have installed some ’safe text’ cushions to lampposts in ‘risky areas’ to help minimise the risk!
I don’t think I have injured myself whilst sending messages, however whilst bending down to pick up my phone after dropping I have bashed my head numerous times. Also, whilst changing hands during phone calls I have caused some damage by dropping bags / other objects or elbowing various things.
Thankfully I have a bluetooth hands free headset! This definitely eliminates most risks when I remember to use it!

i dnt think iv ever hurt myself whilst txtin or on d fone! that is really funny tho! it reminds me of the tmobile ad for free texting on the weekend. everyone’s head is down lol. also major LOL to chucking ur fone on d floor n den tryin to pick it up…..such a doofus!

@Poo - I am sooo glad I had one of those plastic cases for my phone or my phone would have been toasted!
^ Just so everyone else knows, it was an incident of moving my gym bag from one shoulder to the other and I managed to drop my phone! Smashing the plastic case in the process! Luckily the phone escaped without any damage!
