The Golden Compass

To be fair, this movie was not the best I have seen. It was a ‘kids’ movie to be fair, but I expected it to be one of the many book>film instant classics. Sadly not the case.

I thought it was very long and there seemed to be parts that were missed out. According to my friend who has read the books, there were a lot of important parts missed out of this that could have helped it make more sense to those of us (me ) who have not read them.

So, I’ll probably still go to see the next ones (if they get made) and hopefully by then they will have learned from the reviews of this attempt and make improvements!
