When did we get to 7 billion people living on Earth?? I stumbled across this interesting video on National Geographic and it’s FULL of interesting facts about the world’s population.
- Approximately every second, 5 people are born yet only 2 die.
- The average person lived until 69 in 2010, compared to 53 in 1960!
- More of us live in cities globally, than in rural areas.
- Right now, there are 21 megacities (with populations over 10 million people.
wow! its shocking stats especially to know we're currently at 7 BILLION people! but the fact we'd all fit LA is just as surprising!
Yea that part was really crazy, that we could all fit in LA side by side.. Can you imagine that though lol!! Madness.
