Public enemies was a good movie.  It told the tale of John Dillinger the great bank robber and the agony of the police departments trying to stop him.

I won’t go into too much detail about the full story of the film, but I will say that the cinematography work in this movie was AWFUL!!  There were so many mistakes for a movie in 2009 starring the likes of Johnny Depp and Christian Bale.

There were so many occasions of the sun disappearing from scenes where they obviously had spent long days shooting..  For example, scenes where two people are talking to eachother – the view on one persons face has the sun shining brightly..  Then the view of the two of them together has no sunshine, same with the view of the other person’s face..  Hmm..  AWFUL job!  FAIL!!

Also, lets not forget the scenes where you could see a green light obviously from a camera or some other equipment reflecting out of Johnny Depp’s glasses!?  Even I could film better shots than they did..  I just wouldn’t be able to bankroll the cast .

That being said, the movie was great to watch and I would recommend it to anyone heading to the cinema in the next few weeks.
