There are many pet owners who LOVE having pictures of their pets taken and framed.  But how good would it be to have a painting of your pet?!  Very cool and very individual if you ask me!

One of my colleagues, Astrid Ruddick has an amazing talent of painting cats.  I had heard about her talent previously, but only when I saw first hand one of her creations did I realise just how great she actually was at her art!

Her talents have been recognised globally and recently she was commissioned by a cat owner in India to paint a picture of his beautiful cat.  I was lucky enough to catch a glimpse of this particular painting just before it was framed and I nearly fell off my chair because it was just so good!  It was obvious that a lot of time had been spent with the painting and there was so much attention to detail.

Astrid accepts photos of your cat (the more the better) so she can then use the various angles to ensure she has a full picture of all your cat’s features and even snippets of it’s personality through the photographs.  She then transforms the photos into her art and creates a true representation of your cat in familiar surroundings.
